Professional Dog Trainer
Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator

I’ve been a trainer for over a decade and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I began as an owner to a reactive labrador who taught me so much. Having the experience of owning a large reactive dog forced me to really (and at times painfully) grow as an owner and is the reason I’m a trainer today. Three years into having a reactive dog, I was working as a certified professional trainer at Petco sharing my knowledge, passion, and time working with owners and their dogs. I’ve taught many classes consisting of both small and large groups and private one on one sessions before leaving Petco and I’ve worked with clients and their dogs since. I firmly believe the path to a happier and more satisfying relationship with your dog and better behavior is through positive reinforcement, balanced training, and pack leadership.

I will help you build and strengthen the relationship with your dog through positive reinforcement, play, engagement, and enrichment while also teaching and showing you how to work on calmness, impulse control, and holding your dog accountable. I incorporate a variety of methods and tools in my training. I will always aim to personalize and tailor my approach to best work for you, your family, and your dog using different methods and tools to achieve success and harmony and to build confidence in both you as a handler and your dog.

Creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment is my goal while also using effective training methods, offering knowledge, and providing services that help create positive change.
